Water is a substance composed of two hydrogen and one oxygen atoms and also known as aqua, di-hydrogen monoxide or hydrogen hydroxide. The molecule of water has one hydrogen bonded to the oxygen that is in turn bonded with another hydrogen such that at any given moment the bond angle between the two atoms of hydrogen is 1050 and thus resembles the letter "V". This fact is what gives water a very important and unique chemical property - it is a polar compound. Water is a polar compound because of the fact that the hydrogen atoms have "donated" their orbiting single electron to the oxygen atom. Oxygen is termed as a more electronegative atom than hydrogen. Therefore the oxygen will have the tendency to attract the two orbiting hydrogen electrons closer to its nucleus rather that to the nuclei of the two hydrogen atoms. This has the result of making the water molecule to have a positive end towards the two hydrogen atoms (the wings) and a negative end at the oxygen atom (the base). Since the outer orbit of oxygen now has 8 electrons in it that completes the requirement specified by the oxygen nucleus, one of the hydrogen atoms has the tendency to wander off away from the molecule as the remaining hydrogen has two electrons in its outer orbital as required by its nucleus. Thus when lots of water molecules congregate together, water has the natural tendency to be slightly acidic due the quantity of dissolved carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide that combine with water vapor and rain water to form carbonic acid and hydrosulfurous acid. It is the positively charged and ionized hydrogen atoms within the mixture at any given moment in time, free protons (positively charged, hydrogen atom ions), that are acidic. This leaves the hydroxyl ion (the remaining molecule of one oxygen atom and the one bonded hydrogen atom) as a negatively charged ion due to the "extra" shared electron and that also for the bicarbonate/hydrosulfurate negative ions. This event of proton separation happens many times a second as does the re-combination into the di-hydrogen oxide form of the molecule. It is the net final result under the physical and chemical conditions that exists at that moment, which yields the detectable relative amounts of ions in the mixture. Remember that the statment that water is a polar molecule. Some of the positive ends of water are attracted to the negative ends of other water molecules and to the hydroxyl/bicarbonate/hydrosulfurate ions. Some of the free protons are attracted to the negative ends of the water molecules and other hydroxyl ions. It is the net result of all of the interactions that yields the final detectable relative balance of all of the component ions. In describing the relative balance of (+) and (-) ions, the concept of pH was developed. The range of pH is 14 as extremely basic to 1 as extremely acidic. Neutrality is described as a pH of 7.

If you really want to delve into the physico-chemical properties of matter, please read the literature plentifully available elsewhere concerning the subject. Only the important details concerning water will be forthcoming in this work. Wikipedia has a very good description of water - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water.

  1. Water is unique in that it is the only natural substance that is found in all three states -- liquid, solid (ice), and gas (steam) -- at the temperatures normally found on Earth. The water cycle of the earth shows that it is constantly interacting, changing, and moving.
  2. Water freezes at 32o Fahrenheit (F) and boils at 212o F (at sea level, but 186.4o at 14,000 feet). In fact, water's freezing and boiling points are the baseline with which temperature is measured: 0o on the Celsius scale is water's freezing point, and 100o is water's boiling point.
  3. The freezing of water molecules causes their mass to occupy a larger volume. When water freezes it expands rapidly adding about 9% by volume. Fresh water has a maximum density at around 4o Celsius). Water is the only substance on this planet where the maximum density of its mass does not occur when it becomes solidified. Water is unusual in that the solid form, ice, is less dense than the liquid form. This is why ice floats and allows life to exist in lakes and rivers during the Winters.
  4. Water in a pure state has a neutral pH. As a result, absolutely pure water is neither acidic nor basic. Water changes its pH when substances are dissolved in it. Rain has a naturally acidic pH of about 5.6 because it contains naturaly derived carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide.
  5. Water is transparent, and thus aquatic plants can live within the water because sunlight can reach them. Only strong UV light is slightly absorbed.
  6. Water has a high specific heat index. This means that water can absorb a lot of heat before it begins to get hot. The high specific heat index of water also helps regulate the rate at which air changes temperature, which is why the temperature change between seasons is gradual rather than sudden, especially near the oceans.
  7. Water has a very high surface tension. In other words, water is sticky and elastic, and tends to clump together in drops rather than spread out in a thin film. Surface tension is responsible for what is known as capillary action, that allows water (and its dissolved substances) to move through the xylem & phloem of plants and through the tiny blood vessels in our bodies.
  8. Pure water has a low electrical conductivity, but this increases significantly upon solvation (dissolution) of a small amount of ionic material.
  9. Here is a quick rundown of some of the properties of water:
    • Weight: 62.416 pounds per cubic foot at 320 F
    • Weight: 61.998 pounds per cubic foot at 1000 F
    • Weight: 8.33 pounds/gallon, 0.036 pounds/cubic inch
    • Density: 1 gram per cubic centimeter (cc) at 39.20 F, 0.95865 gram per cc at 2120 F

The revolutionary, pioneering work by Hans W. Giertz [ http://www.miklagaard.com/wp-content/uploads/PDF-Bacteria.pdf ] has shown that there is a theoretical model that explains water resonance mechanisms in biological entities. This article will explore this model and the implications for human health. The quality of the water within the body is an extremely important issue for the maintenance of health.

Discussion

The fact that water is an essential molecule for biological processes and required for the existence of life on the Earth is indisputable. The surface of the Earth is 70% covered by water as oceans, seas, lakes and flowing waters. The internal environment of cells and the extracellular environment of organisms reflects the mineral content of oceans. Mineral ions and biological molecules within cells as well as the cellular and extracellular architecture of organisms are in an intimate relationship with water.

The biophysics of water is discussed in this article [ http://www.diamondhead.net/p18-2.htm ]. Water displayes an special relationship with the element silicon, as found in this article [ http://journalinformationalmedicine.org/bpes.htm ]. Water is known to form extended hydration states and complex structured cluster arrangements due to the nature of the molecular structure and dimensions of the water molecule [ http://www.chem1.com/acad/sci/aboutwater.html and [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molecular_geometry ]. Remember that the bond angle between the hydrogen molecules attached to the oxygen atom is 105o

Cellular architecture is used to compartmentalize enzymatic processes and also to provide a structural arrangement to allow for the optimum enzymatic processing of all sorts of molecules utilized by living cells. Compartmentalization is provided by water-lipid interfaces as membranes [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cell_membrane ]. Structural arrangement of protein molecules provides the lattice for enzymatic cascades [ http://www.mendeley.com/research/superiority-of-interconvertible-enzyme-cascades-in-metabolite-regulation-analysis-of-multicyclic-systems/ ]. Water provides the reaction medium that all biological processes occur within, apart from direct membrane and protein structure guided reactions. Water is the solvent within which the molecules of life disperse and are carried by the various processes of consumption, digestion, assimilation, transport, uptake, metabolism and waste elimination from the body.

Water, then, is the medium of life. This means that structured water clusters are at the center of biological processes. The theoretical model by Hans Giertz proposes that water-ion complexes are a forced damped oscillator [ http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~djmorin/waves/oscillations.pdf ] resonating at specific frequencies. The forced damped oscillator absorbs current I(W) and this current increases within its frequency (W) or close to its natural frequency Wo of the forced damped oscillator and where (y) is the oscillator damping and R (resistance) is a constant. This yields the following equation:

I(W) = Ry/(Wo - W)2 + y2/4)

The structured cluster immediately surrounding the embedded, resonating complex would absorb the resonance and sympathetically also begin to resonate. The strength of the resonating cluster complex would be greatest in the region of the embedded cluster complex. Native processes would then have a frequency characteristic of the living entity. Thus, an atom (ion) in the matter cluster of water creates a specific electromagnetic "fingerprint" that is a locked characteristic of a specific ion-H2O molecule structure. This ion-H2O molecule structure comprises a forced damped oscillator with a fixed natural frequency, creating resonance and absorbing current (Iair) in the air with fixed frequency. A similar principle, where "embedded" ions create specific structured water clusters, applies to membrane ion channels, the water channel as well as for receptors (refer to the cited Giertz article). The exact nature of the embedded ion atom/molecule is not known but hypothesized to be a protein or nucleic acid-protein complex. Externally applied Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) electromagnetic energy in the range of 2-10 Hz is known to enforce structured cluster resonance in water. This is within the range of the electromagnetic energy present in air as reported by Hans Geirtz [ http://www.miklagaard.com/papers/paper-1b-3/ ].

The results of experiments by Hans Giertz has yielded the following information concering resonant ELF energies in living entities.

  1. Human tissues - 4.55 Hz [ http://www.miklagaard.com/wp-content/uploads/PDF-Humans.pdf ]
  2. Human cancer cells - 3.03 Hz [ http://www.miklagaard.com/wp-content/uploads/PDF-Cancer.pdf ]
  3. Bacteria - 3.79 Hz and 5.31 Hz [ http://www.miklagaard.com/wp-content/uploads/PDF-Bacteria.pdf ]

Hans Giertz has developed a novel means of detecting ELF electromagnetic energies in living things using a high-quality ELF generator, a simple wire electrode attached to the generator as a source and a charge meter [ http://www.miklagaard.com/papers/paper-1b-3/ ]. He was able to locate the 3D position of an infection or diseased tissue to within 1 cm by a completely safe and non-invasive means. The area of pathology was always at 3.79 Hz, 5.31 Hz or both and not the 4.55 Hz of healthy human tissue, in the case of an infection. As stated, cancer cells resonated at 3.03 Hz instead of the normal 4.55 Hz. He also looked at a number of viral infections and auto-immune conditions. The diseased tissues were always at 3.79 Hz, 5.31 Hz or both but not at the normal 4.55 Hz.

Hans Giertz then describes a means of removing the ELF energy from the area of infection or disease. He decribes how to make a device [ http://www.miklagaard.com/wp-content/uploads/PDF-Extinct.pdf ] that oscillates at the frequency of the un-natural frequency and thus robs the disease agent of the ELF energy it needs to maintain itself. The Immune system then restores the natural processes/removes debris in the former diseased area and returns the area to the natural frequency of 4.55 Hz.

The means that Hans Giertz now uses to extinguish the disease causing resonances generated by disease pathogens seems to be exactly the same as the method that was pioneered by Dr. Albert Abrams in the 1920s [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Abrams ], the originator and developer of what became known as Radionics. Dr. Abrams promoted a concept that electrons were at the basic element of all life. He called this ERA, for Electronic Reactions of Abrams, and introduced a number of different machines which he claimed were based on these principles. Dr. Abrams was theoretcally ahead of his time in 1 sense but hindered by the state of electronics and the state, at the time, of the sciences of biophysics and physics. The reaction by peers, the scientific community and the American Medical Society was one of dis-belief and severe rejection. Dr. Abrams applied external energies at the same frequency (rates) that he obtained from the patient or samples from the patient. Hans Giertz found only the same frequency (4.55 Hz) in material, that was hydrated, derived from a number of alive and dead tissues. The frequencies of diseased tissues were only 3.79 Hz and 5.31 Hz. The similarities are noted to the concept of Dr. Abrams but the method by Dr. Abrams has died with him. Today, Radionics is practiced mainly in Europe [ http://www.raydionics.com/ ] and [ http://www.copenlabs.com/whatsradionics.htm ]. However, the method of Hans Giertz is readily reproduced and his original research was conducted using current scientific methodology. His seminal work concerning the ELF in the air is truly groundbreaking in context and establishes the basis of much needed research in biophysics concerning the interaction of life processes with the existing energetic environment.

Conclusions

The pioneering work of Hans Giertz has shown that water forms structured cluster complexes with ions and molecules within living entities. These complexes resonate at ELF frequencies in the range of about 3 Hz to 5 Hz, other frequncies may be forthcoming. His method is readily reproduced and is non-invasive. He is able to locate diseased areas in 3D to within 1 cm. He also has described a method for harmonizing the diseased area and restoring the natural resonant frequency.
